In 2024, LCCE implemented initial stages in its program on sustainable development education, through training women and youth on circular economy and raising awareness on sustainable development.

With the support of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) as part of the initiative supporting civil society engaged in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, LCCE trained 40 women on circular economy in a pilot site on plastic recycling and raised awareness on responsible consumption.
