“Bridging the Gaps”is a project implemented in 2013, aimed to introduce youth in four conflict-prone regions in Lebanon to interactive theater tools and techniques in order to discuss peaceful conflict resolution techniques with their communties. 20 Youths in Shiyah, Ain Alrummaneh, Chweifat, and Hadat were selected and trained on these theoretical concepts to discuss real-life conflicting issues. The primary goal of these community-based conflict resolution performances was to increase people’s tolerance of religious and sectarian differences. The youths led the Interactive Theater Performances (13 days total) in public gardens, municipalities and in big school in each region.
