Market based skills building in disadvantaged communities
From January till October 2021, LCCE empowered 270 women and men living in disadvantaged communities in Akkar, Wadi Khaled, Tripoli, Mount Lebanon, and Arsal to gain market based skills allowing them to increase their readiness to enter labor market or to start revenues' generating activities. These trainings are funded by the Livelihoods programs of the International Rescue committee. Besides the economic impact, these market based skills trainings aim to create an opportunity for Lebanese citizens and Syrian refugees to communicate together and to build a spirit of social cohesion in the communities.
