In order to sustain the capacity building programs in the aftermath of Covid-19 challenges, LCCE initiated the online platform Edokio to present innovative blended learning methodology to empower youth on vocational, soft and life skills. This modern approach uses micro-learning videos, and interactive quizzes, and remote coaching through mobile technology.

Since Jan 2021, around 200 youth living in disadvantaged communities are trained on LCCE market based skills curriculum through a blended learning approach and using Edokio micro-learning platform and videos to get trained on vocational training such as bakery, sweet making, tailoring, hairdressing, Make-up, and general electricity. The projects implemented by Lebanese Center for Civic Education aim to empower youth and women living in vulnerable communities in Wadi Khaled, Akkar, Tripoli , Mount lebanon and Beirut to access labor market or become micro-entrepreneurs.
