Youths for Change
“Youths for Change” aimed at building the capacity of youth regarding advocacy and lobbying techniques and leading campaigns. This project aimed at building community leaders who are capable of detecting the problems in their communities and leading an advocacy campaign in order to achieve their objectives. The project built the capacity of youth regarding lobbying and advocacy tools, dealing with decision makers and media, identifying their campaign messages and overcoming obstacles. 2 campaigns have been implemented; Ras Al Nabaa youth campaign “ Kibba Bi Ma7alla” that aimed at issuing a circular to implement waste segregation in secondary public schools in Beirut and Chweifat youth campaign “ Taleb Taghyeer” that aimed at having a decent entrance for Chweifat public school.
